Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) Review
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has many similarities with Galaxy Note 10.1. They have the same 10.1” (1280 x 800) display, which is adequately sensitive and bright. Users have reported good experiences when browsing the web and watching movies. One thing missing from the Tab 2 (10.1) is the active stylus as well as note-taking and drawing apps.
The tablet is significantly cheaper than the Note 10.1, therefore some compromises have to be made. Instead of the quad-core powerhouse used by the Note 10.1, the Tab 2 (10.1) comes with a more modest 1GHz dual-core processor. AnTuTu benchmark results show that the tablet is comparable in performance with the Samsung Galaxy Beam.
There are 16GB and 32GB models available, users can also add up to 64GB of card into the microSD card slot. The 3Mp rear-facing camera has autofocus but no LED flash. The camera can record 720p videos at 30fps. There’s also a 1.9Mp camera up front for quick video call sessions.
